OUR STORY
Deborah Wright, a longtime pro-am dancer, sought to bring the joy of ballroom dance to the community. When a mid-century modern building, formerly home to a US Bank since the 1960s, became available at Oak and 17th, she saw its potential. Transforming the old bank into a dance studio was a unique and creative endeavor, blending architectural charm with the elegance of ballroom dancing. The spacious layout perfectly suited dancers, providing ample room for movement and expression. During the redesign, Deborah preserved the building’s character by keeping the iconic 1960s vault door, safe deposit boxes, and even the drive-up window. These features add to the studio’s charm, making it a one-of-a-kind space. The result is a stunning facility that harmonizes history with artistry.
